By submitting to this Project you (the "Participant") agree to be bound by these terms and conditions ("Terms"). Any information or instructions included on the DMoArtWorlds Project Page (www.dmoartworlds.com/dancing-around-the-world ("Project Page")) form part of these terms and conditions. This Project, which is being staged via the online platform Twitter, is in no way sponsored, supported or organized by Twitter. The information you provide to DMoArtWorlds will only be used for the purposes of operating the Project and will not be passed to third parties not involved in the Project.
A. Project Submission Period

Except where prohibited, participation in the Project, Participant grants DMoArtWorlds the right to use, publish, including posting online, his or her name, likeness, voice, opinion, biographical information, all submitted films, and place of residency in any media for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation, except where prohibited by law.

I. Ownership of Participant’s Submission and DMoArtWorlds Rights to Use It
By submitting to this Project Participant grants DMoArtWorlds non-exclusive ownership of Participant’s Submission and the following wording transfers non-exclusive ownership of Participant’s Submission to DMoArtWorlds and allows DMoArtWorlds to exploit Participant’s Submission (or not) without further reference or compensation to Participant:

B. Eligibility
- The Project is open to anyone with Twitter. This Project shall be void where restricted or prohibited by law.
- People who live in territories where Twitter has limited availability shall be allowed to submit via email. This Project shall be void where restricted or prohibited by law.
- No purchase is necessary to submit to this Project.
C. How to Submit
- There is no charge for submitting to this Project. You must have access to the Internet as the Project can only be submitted online.
- a) How to submit via Twitter: To submit via Twitter, log in to Twitter and tweet a screener link to your film (featuring your ‘DancingAroundTheWorld’ film) from [21/03/2016 (12noon GMT) until 22/07/2016 (midnight BST) ("Project Submission Period")]. Registered Twitter Account holders must agree to the Twitter Terms of Service (a copy of which can be found at https://twitter.com/tos?lang=en) and the Twitter Privacy Policy (a copy of which can be found at https://twitter.com/privacy?lang=en).
- To be eligible, your tweet must hashtag #DancingAroundTheWorld, tag DMoArtWorlds’ Twitter handle @dmoartworlds, and mention your town/country, when submitting the Project Submission. (Example tweet: https://youtu.be/LINKtomyFiLM Nairobi, Kenya #DancingAroundTheWorld @dmoartworlds)
- Participant must also follow DMoArtWorlds’ Twitter account at the time of the Project Submission to be one of the selected winners of the Project.

D. How to be selected
- At the end of July 2016, DMoArtWorlds will review the videos submitted and select a shortlist of films based on demonstration of the Project’s overall objectives, as well as the number of likes received.
- In territories where Twitter has limited availability, DMoArtWorlds reserves the right to select one (1) entry from each of these territories to the shortlist received by the alternative method of emailing the screener link to [email protected].
- At the beginning of August 2016 the judging panel will review the shortlisted films and choose a selection of winners* who fulfil all the criteria (see Technical Requirements) and best showcase the Project’s objective (films that fulfil the #DancingAroundTheWorld objective and demonstrate life with creativity, movement and sincerity). (*Number of winners will depend upon the collective length of the submitted films.)
- Submissions may not conflict with applicable law or regulations, the rights of third parties, nor may they incite, advocate or express pornography, obscenity, vulgarity, hatred, bigotry, racism or gratuitous violence. DMoArtWorlds has the right to remove and disqualify any submission which contains material which is offensive, insulting, injurious, obscene, offending, vindictive, indecent, perverted, immoral, aggressive, sexually oriented, racist, derisive, slanderous, discriminatory, or in any other way not in line with good taste and decency, or which DMoArtWorlds deems in its sole discretion to be otherwise unacceptable.
(*Films must be owned by the Twitter user. A stolen film will be excluded from winners selection.) - Winners will be selected by 12/08/2016.
- Any submission may be selected to feature on the DMoArtWorlds web page.
- If a high number of submissions impressively demonstrate the #DancingAroundTheWorld objective, a further feature film may be produced.
E. The Prize
- Each of the selected winners will have their film featured as part of an independently produced collective feature length documentary film and be credited for their contribution.
- A number of submissions will also be selected to feature on the DMoArtWorlds web page.
- Production of the feature length film will commence after the winning submissions are announced and accepted.
- Prizes will be awarded "AS IS" with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied offered by DMoArtWorlds. Nothing contained herein should be construed as an endorsement by DMoArtWorlds of any reward suppliers or other third party, product, or service.
- No cash or other substitution, assignment or transfer of any prizes permitted.
F. Notification of Selected Winners
- All selected winners will be announced on the Project Page and DMoArtWorlds’ Twitter account.
- DMoArtWorlds’ Twitter account (@dmoartworlds) will send a message to the winners' Twitter accounts requesting a contact email address. After verifying the email address, DMoArtWorlds will send a final email to the selected winners. The winners will have 7 days from the date the final email notification is sent to them to accept their prize by sending a reply via email with any required information including permissions and proof of ownership to the email address from which the notification email from DMoArtWorlds was received.
- Winners may be requested to provide DMoArtWorlds with proof of identity, age and residency, and if Participant is under 18, that they have the consent of their parent(s) or guardian(s) to enter the Project (DMoArtWorlds may require written confirmation from Participant’s parent(s) or guardian(s) that they have granted consent). Participant may also be required to provide DMoArtWorlds with contact details of any people featured in their Submission, any people who have helped Participant make their Submission and Participant may be required to provide DMoArtWorlds with evidence in writing that all such persons have consented to paragraph I. of these Terms and Conditions.
- In the scenario that a selected winner is unreachable, ineligible, or fails to provide adequate information or accept the prize in the time required, the winner shall forfeit their prize.
G. Publicity
Except where prohibited, participation in the Project, Participant grants DMoArtWorlds the right to use, publish, including posting online, his or her name, likeness, voice, opinion, biographical information, all submitted films, and place of residency in any media for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation, except where prohibited by law.
H. Privacy and Data Protection
- Other than as set out in these Terms and Conditions or for the purposes of operating the Project, the details and information provided by you when submitting the Project or accepting a prize will not be used for any purpose other than to notify winners and for prize fulfillment purposes in connection with the Project, nor shall they be passed to any third party not associated with the Project.
- Participants' personal information will be kept strictly confidential.
I. Ownership of Participant’s Submission and DMoArtWorlds Rights to Use It
By submitting to this Project Participant grants DMoArtWorlds non-exclusive ownership of Participant’s Submission and the following wording transfers non-exclusive ownership of Participant’s Submission to DMoArtWorlds and allows DMoArtWorlds to exploit Participant’s Submission (or not) without further reference or compensation to Participant:
- Participant hereby assigns to DMoArtWorlds all rights in their Submission with full title guarantee free from all encumbrances charges and liens and DMoArtWorlds or its affiliates or licensees shall have the non-exclusive right to change, edit, overdub and exploit Participant’s Submission and all versions, edits and derivatives thereof throughout the World (or not, as DMoArtWorlds sees fit) and to authorize others connected with the Project to do so without further reference or compensation to Participant or reference or compensation to any persons featured in Participant’s Submission or who helped make Participant’s Submission.
- Particpant grants DMoArtWorlds all consents to enable DMoArtWorlds (or any third party chosen to fulfil the Project) to fully exploit Participant’s Submission. Participant agrees that their Submission (in the context of the #DancingAroundTheWorld short film) may be used in connection with third party advertising, branding or endorsement associated with the Project.
- Participant irrevocably waives any right that they or any persons featured in Participant’s Submission or who helped make Participant’s Submission may have to receive a credit* in respect of Participant’s Submission or to stop DMoArtWorlds from changing or altering Participant’s Submission in any way DMoArtWorlds sees fit for the purposes of the Project. (*Credits for selected winning films will feature collectively at the end of the feature length film's credits. All directors of selected winning films will be credited as co-directors.)
- If Participant is selected as a Prize winner DMoArtWorlds may send Participant a document (the “Document”) which Participant must sign to confirm ownership of their Submission. If Participant is under 18 years old, DMoArtWorlds may also require Participant’s parent(s) or guardian(s) to also sign the Document to guarantee Participant’s obligations to DMoArtWorlds. If DMoArtWorlds does not receive the Document signed by Participant (and/or Participant’s parent(s) or guardian(s) if Participant is under 18 years old) by such date as DMoArtWorlds may reasonably notify to Participant, DMoArtWorlds has the right to not include Participant’s Submission in the Project.
- If Participant is selected as a Prize winner, DMoArtWorlds may send Participant consent forms (the “Consent Forms”) which Participant must ensure are signed by all of the people featured in Participant’s Submission and anyone else involved with the creation of Participant’s Submission. If DMoArtWorlds does not receive the signed Consent Forms by such date as DMoArtWorlds may reasonably notify to Participant, DMoArtWorlds has the right to not include Participant’s Submission in the Project.
- If Participant does not comply with any of these Terms and Conditions and as a result, DMoArtWorlds suffers loss or damage, Participant shall on DMoArtWorlds demand reimburse DMoArtWorlds for such loss/damage. Participant will also be disqualified from the Project if they do not comply with any of these Terms and Conditions.
J. General Conditions
- Participants must have a valid email address at the time of submission.
- By submitting to this Project, you agree to these Terms and Conditions which are final and binding in all respects related to the Project. In case a third person, different from the Participant, appears in the film, Participant warrants that this third person has given his/her consent to these Terms. Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless DMoArtWorlds, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees and customers from and against any claim or demand (including reasonable legal fees) by a third party relating to the use of his/her image by DMoArtWorlds or its affiliates or licensees.
- DMoArtWorlds reserves the right to alter, amend, foreclose or withdraw the Project or the terms and conditions of entry at its sole discretion at any time and without prior notice.
- DMoArtWorlds reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participants deemed to be (a) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Project or any website of DMoArtWorlds’ partners; (b) violating these Terms and Conditions; (c) acting with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.
- Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Project is a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, DMoArtWorlds reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. DMoArtWorlds’ failure to enforce any term of these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Participation in receipt of any benefits from the Project may have tax consequences. Should there be any tax liability for participation in the Project or the receipt of a reward, or costs or expenses relating to participation in the Project or for any other reasons, such taxes and/or expenses are the sole responsibility of the Participant.
- This Project is governed by UK Law. All disputes, controversies or claims between the parties arising out of or in connection with this Project shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the United Kingdom.
- If you are selected as one of the winners, you are not allowed to use DMoArtWorlds’ Twitter wall (https://twitter.com/dmoartworlds) to post messages to promote and re-sell any of the prizes. By doing so, you will be banned from any future DMoArtWorlds Projects.
- If for any reason the Project is not capable of running as planned, including without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the contest, DMoArtWorlds reserves the right, at its sole discretion to cancel, delay, modify, or terminate the project without any prior notice.
- Participant warrants and represents that all works comprised in the Submission are his/her own original work and do not copy, nor incorporate the work of any third party and that use of the Submission by DMoArtWorlds or its affiliates will not infringe third party intellectual property rights. By submitting into this Project, Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless DMoArtWorlds, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensees and customers from and against any claim or demand (including reasonable legal fees) by a third party relating to the use of the Submission by DMoArtWorlds or its affiliates or licensees or arising out of Participant's breach of these Terms.
- DMoArtWorlds shall not be liable for any disruption to the Project, whether due to technical problems or otherwise, which is beyond reasonable control. In the event of any disruption to the Project, DMoArtWorlds shall use its reasonable endeavours to remedy the disruption and resume the Project on a fair and equitable basis to the Participants.
- The decision of DMoArtWorlds is final and DMoArtWorlds shall not enter into any correspondence about the results. DMoArtWorlds accepts no responsibility for Submissions lost, misdirected, illegible, late, mutilated or altered. Submissions that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified.
- By submitting to the Project, you agree to release DMoArtWorlds from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Project or with the acceptance, possession, attendance at, or use of any prize.
- DMoArtWorlds reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. All matters and disputes will be subjected to the final decision of DMoArtWorlds.
