DMo’s multimedia work is characterized by a subrealist style, with spirited explorations of human multidimensionality. Vibrant colours, bold lined designs, conscious text, patterns and symbology all help to shape the creative visions. Particular recurring motifs in DMo’s work influence the imagery and construction of forms, as well as auditory soundscapes, creating distinctive atmospheres that are both strange yet familiar, allowing audiences to dive into mysterious explorations of dark and light aspects of our human existence.

VIBING CIRCLE
Vibing circle, a cross section of the vibing sphere, represents life’s essential vibratory nature, a movement that reaches out to inclusive expanses from inner spaces. Vibrations and oscillations are the sources of all waves, and vibrations and waves are everywhere. Varying forms of this pattern are also found in DMo’s enerbe figures with their vibing head, heart and belly.
 
VISUAL TEXT
Visual text emphasizes the power in letters, words, phrases, found in literature, music and visual art. Handwritten words are especially nuanced. And the concept that language, in particular the vibratory nature of spoken word, generates energy that can shape and influence our experiences and interactions with our self, others and the world.
 
OTHER SYMBOLOGY
Symbols help reveal the hidden. They act as elements of communication that allow us to go beyond what is known or seen. Symbology features throughout DMo’s work, alluding to both the revealed and concealed.
 
UNION SERIES
In the Union Series, DMo’s enerbes feature in the design themes Synergize, Intertwine, Connect, all based on the underlying energetic nature of life and our varied relations.
SYNERGIZE
Enerbes aid one another to climb higher, often in order to reach a common goal, representing efforts to work together.
INTERTWINE
Enerbes move around each other with their sides intimately flush to one another, touching and fluidly running along one another, representing when we come together more closely.
CONNECT
Enerbes are all connected, having morphed through their barriers. Their individualness can still be seen, but there is an uninterrupted connection between each being, representing when we connect deeply, and move in symbiosis…like schools of fish.
 
ENERBES
DMo’s enerbes, short for ‘energy beings’, are inclusive figures that represent our energy systems/biofields. Their vibing head, heart and belly refer to three main energy centres, the upper, middle and lower, each important for our overall balance. They feature throughout DMo’s work.
